Jim Huegerich

We at DSC mourn the loss of our friend Jim Huegerich, who passed away on February 7. Jim was a bright light for conflict resolution and dialogue, a faithful public servant, and the Town of Chapel Hill’s first Ombuds.

Jim was a master at finding common values amid differences, a bridge builder who connected  people, and a skillful navigator who helped people tell their story and be heard. He will be deeply missed by our entire community.

Jim and his wife, Tricia, have suggested that memorials in his name be made to DSC, to help carry on peacemaking and bridge building work he that cared about so deeply.
